Two screws wouldn't go in all the way, so need to borrow a drill for those.My friend borrowed a metal detector to help find a ring, but stopped by here first to see if it could help find those sprinkler control valves. Unfortunately, the thing was more like a toy than a true metal detector, as it could barely pick up the 3 known valves after removing the plastic cover and putting the detector right on top of them. So it looks like it's back to digging tomorrow. Oh, and in a fit of desperation I emailed our realtor hoping she might be able to contact the previous owners and find out the information from them. Probably won't work, but couldn't hurt to ask.
